On Friday I arrived back to London from my quick trip to Ireland. I went with two friends and we explored Dublin, Cork and Limerick. There were lots of castles and amazing green horizons, it was a beautiful contrast from the buzzing city of London. Below are a few photos from our adventures.

A Norwegian Christmas Holiday
Over the Christmas break I went to Norway to spend 3 weeks with my family there. It was the second time I had been there since I was two months old and it was a great opportunity to get to really know my family there and have a taste of the Norwegian culture. The first two weeks were spent in Trondheim where I celebrated Xmas which started with opening presents on Christmas eve and finishing a week later very tied and very full after lots of partying, eating, drinking and talking. It was great fun!
On my last week in Norway I went to a small town called Rissa where my Granddad and his wife live. Rissa is extremely beautiful with lots of lakes, streams and wildlife. I love it there. On a sunny day it’s unreal how magical it is. The majority of snaps that I took while in Norway were taken in Rissa. I just couldn’t stop taking photos, everywhere I looked it was so amazing. Raw nature at it’s finest.
I love Norway and I’m really looking forward to coming back to explore new areas, make new friends and have more epic adventures! Below is a little taster of some of the sites I saw while in Norway over Christmas. I hope you enjoy!

Geneva
At the start of the month I went to Geneva for a week of holidaying and exploring. It was awesome! We explored the city centre, the Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) and the Salève
(mountains). Geneva is a beautiful part of the world with lots of untouched nature surrounding it. Below are a few photos from the trip. I hope you like them.

Water fountains like this seem to be everywhere in Geneva

Relaxing in one of the many parks on a sunny afternoon
One of the many swans that inhabit the lake Geneva

The gorgeous mountains less than a hours drive from the city centre of Geneva
Overlooking the special city of Geneva

Approaching the end of the gondola ride with the sun blazing down on us

The epic mountain scape with Mount Blanc on the right
The powerful water jet in the centre of Geneva known in French as the Jet d’Eau
Taking in the sites of Geneva by boat is the only way

Norway 2011 Trip – 1pixaday
Now having just arrived back in England from Norway I feel refreshed and energized after spending a month in such a beautiful country. It was a wonderful trip and one that I will remember for a long time well into the future. During my stay in Norway I challenged myself to take a photo everyday, rain or shine. It was a lot of fun and it forced me to be creative and to come up with a new idea everyday. I loved it. Below are the results from my 32 days in Norway. Please let me know what your favorite photo from the trip is and why by commenting at the bottom of the post?

Norway 2011 Trip – Week 3
My Third week in Norway has been epic. Its been filled with lots of traveling and lots of beautiful places. I’ve met some wonderful people and have had some really amazing experiences all over Norway, in Røros, Garten, Rissa and Trondheim. Norway is an incredibly interesting country with such a diverse landscape and a fascinating culture. The weather here has been crazy with the sun shinning like there’s no tomorrow one minute and the next huge thunder storms that shake the house. The whole trip so far has been extremely enjoyable and I’m very much looking forward to the next adventure.

Norway 2011 Trip – Week 2
I didn’t know this trip could get any better than the first week, but it has. Its been a constant flow of busyness with visiting family, exploring new areas and siteseeing some of the most spectacular parts of Norway. As you would say in Norway it has been “veldig bra” (very good). I’m now at the half way mark of the trip and really looking forward to the next two weeks of adventures. Below is a taste of what I’ve been about to this week:
The beautiful waterfall near lake Storvatnet
Enjoying the view of lake Savalen
A wharf where we stopped by to have lunch on our way to Savalen
My Granddad sunbathing amongst the daises

Nothing beats a cup of coffee after a hard days walking
Lake Storvatnet
Checking out the epic view of lake Storvatnet
Passing bridge after bridge on our way to Bud
Sightseeing with my dad
