Timelapse

Fast Forward

Over the last couple of months I’ve been fortunate to visit some of the most incredible and beautiful parts of New Zealand. While visiting these places I’ve been shooting time-lapses as they are a great way to show development as well as giving a different perspective of this ever changing world. Timelapses are still really new to me as I’ve only been doing them for the last few months so its been great learning so much through trial and error. Here’s what I’ve shot so far, let me know what you think?

Think Outside the Box

Here’s a cool video I came across that shows what you can achieve with a small budget. All you need is an awesome idea, an actor and a computer and then you can make something incredible! Videos like this really inspire me, seeing what people can achieve when they think outside the box and prove that you don’t need a big budget to achieve greatness! As Robert Rodriguez would say ‘limitations force you to be creative’!

If you come accross any other cool videos like this please flick me an email with the link, I would love to see what else is out there. Here’s the behind the scenes on how they made the video:

Moving Pictures

I love time-lapses, they have have such a special magic to them and emphasize the incredible beauty of nature. I’ve just ordered myself a timelapse remote for my Canon 550d. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and start playing around with making moving pictures. As soon as I shoot a few time-lapses I’ll upload them here on my blog, so keep an eye out!
