Anuvahood Music Video Shoot

Two weeks ago Deane Thrussell from Love film productions asked me to camera assist on a music video for the ‘Anuvahood’ film. The shoot was heaps of fun with lots of talented and energetic people dancing in front of and behind camera. The music video was shot on the Red and the Phantom Flex. The slow motion shots from the flex came out amazingly and everyone was awed by the phantoms amazing ability to slow down time. While on set I was able to take a few snaps which you can check out below. The films has been released in cinemas all around the UK this week. Check out the trailer for the film here:

On sunday I shot a music video for one of James remixes to the song “Love The Way You Lie” by Eminem featuring Rihanna. We shot and edited the whole video in one day using the Canon 550d, a dolly, tripod, two red head lights, Adobe Premiere Pro and a Macbook Pro. It was heaps of fun and we got some cool results, check it out below.

Killing Time

On Friday night Tim Pierce invited me to help out on the shoot for Kolabs new music video. I was filming the behind the scenes and had an epic time watching these guys bring the video to life. It was a night shoot in an old deralic building which had the insides taken out of it. We had a wicked set of lights which we used to create a moody feel. Kolab is a band which was formed in mid 2004 and since have been hard at making jazz inspired music, with a twist of funk! Feel free to have a listen to some of their sensational beats here. As soon as the Music video is released I’ll post it on the blog.  For now check out the behind the scenes video and some of the photos from the shoot:

Play Them DrumsIMG_5194.jpg

Yesterday I spent the day filming with James Jeffery for his latest video remix of the song ‘Over’ by Drake. It was a cool experience seeing some one as talented as James play for almost four hours straight! James had an awesome studio set up with a drumkit, recording facilities, guitars, keyboard, the works, it was epic! When he started playing I was shocked at how insanely loud it was, thankful I had some ear muffs to wear otherwise my ears would still be ringing. James remixed everything in the video apart from the vocals, check out his remix here:
