Last weekend I decided to make the most of being in New Zealand and to test out my new toy, the‘ Glidecam 2000′ (which I have to say is amazing – I’ll post more about it in the near future). So I shot a simple video about a running race with a group of mates. On the Saturday we went location hunting around Auckland City and ran through each scene. Once we’d finished preping we drove to the North Shore to shoot the ending of the film just before dark.
On the day of the shoot I woke up early, finished preping my gear and headed into Auckland to start filming. The weather was amazing, just as we hoped and we got some cool shots while having a blast. By the end of the shoot we were feeling a bit tired but we were stoked (happy) as we managed to shoot everything we needed plus a few extra shots. I will upload the video soon.
