Doha

Over the last month I’ve been in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. I’ve been working on a feature documentary with director Anthony Wonke and cinematographer Simon Niblett. Resistance – In cinema’s today

Resistance – A Royal Premiere

Only two days left before the film is released in selected cinemas around the UK! Very exciting! On Monday night we had the Resistance premiere which was an epic night with a touch of royalty. You can check out the BBC coverage from the premiere here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-15836531

Resistance – Behind the Scenes 1

The first behind the scenes video which I made for the upcoming feature film Resistance has just been released online and is available below:

I shot everything using the Canon 550D using a 18 – 55mm and a 50mm lens. The sound for the interviews was recorded on a Zoom H1 and a Rhode video mic.

The music was composed by Lyndon Holland.

Resistance – 25th November

It’s a month before Resistance staring Andrea Riseborough, Tom Wlaschiha and Micahel Sheen is going to be released in Cinemas around the UK. The film is directed by Amit Gupta and produced by Richard Holmes and Amanda Faber.

At the end of last year I was fortunate enough to have spent three months working on this film as the EPK director. It was an epic journey where I learnt something new everday from an extremely talented cast and crew who were so inspired about this incredible project.

Resistance is based on Owen Sheers novel and was filmed entirely on location in Wales in a small town called Abergavenny. The film is set in 1944 where a group of women in an isolated Welsh village wake up to discover all of the their husbands have mysteriously vanished.
