The Virgin Media Shorts competition has been avertising everywhere in the UK. Its a well known competition sponsored by a huge media company. It’s a great way to get noticed as a filmmaking and have you work seen by hundreds of thousands of people. I was watching some of the finalists from past years and these were my two favourite:

Ben spends his time listening to his Dad’s old 70′s vinyl and making mixtapes on an old double deck tape recorder. He makes a tape to try and woo the girl next door, Lily, the girl of his dreams.

Meet Ben – he holds a sign for a living, and he loves his job more than almost anything. But today is his last day.
