Dublin, Cork and Limerick

On Friday I arrived back to London from my quick trip to Ireland. I went with two friends and we explored Dublin, Cork and Limerick. There were lots of castles and amazing green horizons, it was a beautiful contrast from the buzzing city of London. Below are a few photos from our adventures.

A Norwegian Christmas Holiday

Over the Christmas break I went to Norway to spend 3 weeks with my family there. It was the second time I had been there since I was two months old and it was a great opportunity to get to really know my family there and have a taste of the Norwegian culture. The first two weeks were spent in Trondheim where I celebrated Xmas which started with opening presents on Christmas eve and finishing a week later very tied and very full after lots of partying, eating, drinking and talking. It was great fun!

On my last week in Norway I went to a small town called Rissa where my Granddad and his wife live. Rissa is extremely beautiful with lots of lakes, streams and wildlife. I love it there. On a sunny day it’s unreal how magical it is. The majority of snaps that I took while in Norway were taken in Rissa. I just couldn’t stop taking photos, everywhere I looked it was so amazing. Raw nature at it’s finest.

I love Norway and I’m really looking forward to coming back to explore new areas, make new friends and have more epic adventures! Below is a little taster of some of the sites I saw while in Norway over Christmas. I hope you enjoy!

Over the last few years timelapses have become extremely popular as they show a different perspective on the movement of life and allow people to experience progress in a short period of time. Everyday people are continuously pushing the limits of timelapses and coming out with some incredible results. Below are a few timelapses that are just outstanding and show what the future of this medium has to offer. Happy New Year everyone, I hope you had a fantastic night of celebrations and I wish you all the best for 2012! I was fortunate enough to have spent my New Years with family in a small town in Norway called Trondheim. I had a brilliant night and met some wonderful people. I’ve just been watching all the firework displays and celebrations from around the world and I’m in complete awe with the time and effort that have been put into them. They’re spectacular. Below are a few of the incredible fireworks displays that were put on around the world. AMAZING!

Airborne

New Zealand extreme sports legend Chuck Berry has been working on building a high altitude microlight in his garage for the last three years. He’s finally brought his dream to reality and finished the plane with amazing results. The team at Red Bull have been working hard on making a documentary of his journey in bringing the craft to life. Below is an excerpt from the the doco. It was really nice to see that some of my shots made it into the cut (the shots of Chuck building the microlight in his garage).
